The Blackheath City Improvement District (CID) would like to inform all businesses, property owners, residents and visitors of temporary adjustments to the cleaning schedule during the upcoming public holiday period.
To ensure continued cleanliness and maintenance throughout the district, cleaning teams will remain operational; however, certain services may be conducted on an adjusted timetable.
Service Adjustments
The following services will continue throughout the public holiday period:
- Street sweeping and litter collection
- Public space cleaning
- Waste bin monitoring and servicing
- Illegal dumping inspections
- Graffiti removal assessments
Please note that response times for non-urgent maintenance requests may be slightly longer than usual due to reduced staffing levels during the holiday.
Business Owners
Businesses are encouraged to:
- Ensure refuse is placed in designated collection areas.
- Avoid leaving waste outside premises overnight.
- Report any illegal dumping or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Maintain clear pedestrian access around shopfronts and entrances.
Reporting Issues
Should you observe any cleanliness, maintenance or public environment concerns during the holiday period, please contact the CID office using the details provided on our Contact page.
Our operational teams will continue to monitor the district and respond to priority issues where required.
Commitment to a Clean District
The Blackheath CID remains committed to maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for all stakeholders. We appreciate the ongoing cooperation of businesses, residents and visitors in helping us achieve these goals.
We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable public holiday.
